INGREDIENTS

1kg - Collard greens, usually 2 bunches


3 tb - Oil


1 - Onions


2 - Tomatoes, big


To taste Salt

UTENSILS

Saucepan, Chopping board, Knife

INSTRUCTIONS

1. Wash the collard green leaves well. Then, remove the thick, tough stems by stripping them from the leaves. Slice the leaves thinly.


2. Peel and chop the onion. Wash and chop the tomatoes.


3. Heat the oil in a saucepan under medium heat. Add the onions and cook until they are starting to brown.


4. Add the tomatoes to the pan and cook until soft. Then add the collard greens. Stir for 3-5 minutes.


5. Add some salt to taste, stir, then cover the pan and leave to steam for 5 minutes.


6. Remove from heat and serve.
