Breakfast Barley with Fruit and Nuts

This recipe may contain common and less common allergens, such as soy / dairy products / wheat / eggs / nuts / shellfish.

INGREDIENTS

2 cups - Barley, cooked


1 tb - Cinnamon


¼ tsp - Cloves


1 pinch - Salt


2 - Apples, medium, diced


¼ cup - Walnuts, chopped


¼ cup - Dried cherries


¼ cup - Pure maple syrup


Optional - Milk 


UTENSILS

Sauce pot, Bowls, Chopping board, Knife

INSTRUCTIONS

1. Combine all ingredients in a medium sauce pot heated over medium heat.


2. Stir frequently until warmed through, about 2-3 minutes.


3. Pour into four bowls and serve with milk if desired.
